“I upgraded to the Garmin GT56UHD and the clarity is unbelievable. You can literally see fish moving around structure. Hard Rig Marine helped me pick the right setup and it’s been spot on since day one.”
Michael R. — Cairns, QLD -
“I’m not a tech person, but the team made it super easy to install my GT54UHD transducer. Works perfectly with my ECHOMAP — I’ve never had sonar this clear in the estuary before!”
Jenny L. — Mandurah, WA -
“The Airmar B175M changed my whole deep drop setup. Way better definition and stability compared to my old transducer. You get what you pay for — and these guys know their stuff.”
Ben T. — Newcastle, NSW
AIRMAR® B175H (0° Tilt): 1 kW High-CHIRP Thru-Hull Transducer
The AIRMAR® B175H (0° tilt) is a premium, **flush-mounted bronze thru-hull transducer** designed for serious offshore fishing where high-resolution target separation is key. This 8-pin unit features robust **1 kW Traditional Sonar** operating across the **High-CHIRP (130–210 kHz)** frequency band. It delivers maximum depth performance down to **300 meters (1,000 feet)**, coupled with a narrow beamwidth (6°–10°) for exceptional detail and target clarity. The **0° tilt version** is specifically designed for hulls with minimal deadrise (0°–7°).
1 KW HIGH-CHIRP POWER & RESOLUTION
This transducer is built with a durable bronze housing and utilizes the high-frequency band to provide the best possible target resolution and separation in mid-depth water.
KEY SONAR & INSTALLATION FEATURES
- High Transmit Power: **1 kW power output** ensures reliable signal return and clear definition down to **1,000 feet**.
- High-CHIRP Frequency: Operates at 130–210 kHz, providing a narrow beam and superior resolution for distinguishing targets close to structure.
- Flush Mount Design: Thru-hull installation offers flush mounting for **minimum drag**, sitting less than 1/4 inch outside the hull.
- Tilt Compensation: The 0° tilt compensates for hulls with deadrise angles from **0° to 7°**.
CONNECTIVITY AND INTEGRATION
The B175H is a heavy-duty, bronze sensor compatible with a wide range of Garmin systems.
- **8-Pin Connector:** Uses the 8-pin connector for power and traditional sonar data output.
- **Housing:** Durable bronze construction is ideal for **fiberglass and wood hulls** (not recommended for metal hulls).
Inverell Boating Centre Expert Note:
The AIRMAR B175H (0° Tilt) is a specialized 1 kW Traditional CHIRP only transducer. It is the best choice for anglers prioritizing high-definition target separation and mid-depth (up to 1,000 ft) performance, utilizing a narrower beam (6°–10°) than the B175HW model. **Professional installation is essential** to ensure the 0° tilt version is matched correctly to your hull's deadrise.
