“I upgraded to the Garmin GT56UHD and the clarity is unbelievable. You can literally see fish moving around structure. Hard Rig Marine helped me pick the right setup and it’s been spot on since day one.”

“I’m not a tech person, but the team made it super easy to install my GT54UHD transducer. Works perfectly with my ECHOMAP — I’ve never had sonar this clear in the estuary before!”

    AIRMAR® B175HW (0° Tilt): 1 kW High-Wide CHIRP Thru-Hull Transducer

The AIRMAR® B175HW (0° tilt) is a premium, **flush-mounted bronze thru-hull transducer** designed for serious sport fishing. This 8-pin unit features robust **1 kW Traditional Sonar** operating across the **High-Wide CHIRP (150–250 kHz)** frequency band. It provides maximum depth performance down to **150 meters (500 feet)**, coupled with an ultra-wide **25° beamwidth** for superior coverage and target separation in shallow to mid-depth water. The **0° tilt version** is specifically designed for hulls with minimal deadrise (0°–7°).

1 KW POWER & MAXIMUM COVERAGE

This transducer steps up to 1 kW of power without requiring a fairing block (on compatible hulls). The High-Wide CHIRP band is ideal for vertical jigging and bait ball detection.

    KEY SONAR & INSTALLATION FEATURES

    • High-Wide CHIRP: Operates at 150–250 kHz, providing the widest coverage area (25° beamwidth) for quickly locating fish targets.
    • 1 kW Power: Delivers superior energy through the water for reliable target separation and depth returns up to **500 feet**.
    • Flush Mount Design: Protrudes less than 1/4 inch outside the hull, minimizing drag and eliminating the need for a fairing block.
    • Tilt Compensation: The 0° tilt is designed for permanent installation on hulls with deadrise angles from **0° to 7°**.

    CONNECTIVITY AND INTEGRATION

The B175HW is a heavy-duty, bronze sensor compatible with a wide range of Garmin systems.

    • **8-Pin Connector:** Uses the 8-pin connector for power and traditional sonar data output.
    • **Housing:** Durable bronze construction is ideal for **fiberglass and wood hulls** (not recommended for metal hulls).

    Inverell Boating Centre Expert Note:

The AIRMAR B175HW is a high-power, specialized **Traditional CHIRP only** transducer. It is the premier choice for anglers prioritizing the widest possible cone angle (25°) and maximum resolution in depths under 500 feet. The 0° tilt version is essential for accurate returns on low-deadrise hulls. **Professional installation is strongly advised.**
