“I upgraded to the Garmin GT56UHD and the clarity is unbelievable. You can literally see fish moving around structure. Hard Rig Marine helped me pick the right setup and it’s been spot on since day one.”

    Michael R. — Cairns, QLD

“I’m not a tech person, but the team made it super easy to install my GT54UHD transducer. Works perfectly with my ECHOMAP — I’ve never had sonar this clear in the estuary before!”

    Jenny L. — Mandurah, WA

“The Airmar B175M changed my whole deep drop setup. Way better definition and stability compared to my old transducer. You get what you pay for — and these guys know their stuff.”

    Ben T. — Newcastle, NSW

GARMIN GT20-TM: 8-pin Transom Mount with Traditional & ClearVü™ Sonar

The Garmin GT20-TM is an essential all-in-one transducer for shallow-water anglers, featuring both traditional sonar and **CHIRP ClearVü™ scanning sonar** in a single unit. This transom or trolling motor mounted transducer consistently displays clear fish arches and crisp pictures of objects and structure below your boat. With **500 W** of power, it provides reliable performance down to **1,900 feet (traditional)** and **750 feet (ClearVü)**.

    DUAL SONAR PERFORMANCE & RANGE

The GT20-TM uses dual-frequency traditional sonar combined with high-frequency scanning to deliver superior detail in coastal and inland fishing environments.

    KEY SONAR & COVERAGE FEATURES

    • Traditional Sonar: Operates at 77/200 kHz frequencies, providing up to 1,900 feet of traditional depth capability.
    • ClearVü™ Scanning Sonar: CHIRP 455/800 kHz scanning provides a nearly photographic view of structure and fish directly below your boat, with depths up to 750 feet.
    • Dual Power Rating: Provides a stable 500 W of power for both Traditional and ClearVü elements.
    • Installation: Includes mounting hardware for both Transom and Trolling Motor installation.

    CONNECTIVITY & RELIABILITY

The GT20-TM is a reliable, entry-level transducer that integrates seamlessly with 8-pin compatible Garmin units.

    • **8-Pin Connector:** Uses the dedicated 8-pin connector for a simple, plug-and-play installation.
    • **Cable Length:** Includes a 20-foot transducer cable with a built-in fast-response temperature sensor.
    • **Supported Angles:** Supports transom angles between 0°–70° degrees for optimal sonar operation.

    Inverell Boating Centre Expert Note:

The GT20-TM is an excellent value option for shallow-water depth, providing 500W performance through a single 8-pin connection. Ensure your Chartplotter (e.g., compatible echoMAP™ or STRIKER™ Plus models) has a corresponding 8-pin port to utilize both Traditional and ClearVü sonar features.
