“I upgraded to the Garmin GT56UHD and the clarity is unbelievable. You can literally see fish moving around structure. Hard Rig Marine helped me pick the right setup and it’s been spot on since day one.”

“I’m not a tech person, but the team made it super easy to install my GT54UHD transducer. Works perfectly with my ECHOMAP — I’ve never had sonar this clear in the estuary before!”

    Jenny L. — Mandurah, WA

“The Airmar B175M changed my whole deep drop setup. Way better definition and stability compared to my old transducer. You get what you pay for — and these guys know their stuff.”

    GARMIN GT22HW-TM: High-Wide CHIRP & ClearVü™ Transducer (8-Pin)

The Garmin GT22HW-TM is the perfect all-in-one transducer for freshwater fishermen and smaller craft. This compact, 8-pin transducer combines **High-Wide CHIRP Traditional Sonar (250 W)** with **CHIRP ClearVü™ scanning sonar (350 W)**. It consistently displays clear and crisp fish arches with superior target separation down to **800 feet (traditional)** and provides clear definition of structure below the boat down to **500 feet (ClearVü)**. Its compact size makes it ideal for mounting to a trolling motor.

    HIGH-WIDE CHIRP & COMPACT POWER

The GT22HW-TM utilizes High-Wide CHIRP frequencies (150-240 kHz) to provide maximum coverage and clarity, especially beneficial for freshwater applications.

    KEY SONAR & COVERAGE FEATURES

    • Traditional Sonar: 250 W High-Wide CHIRP (150-240 kHz) for excellent fish arch clarity and target separation up to **800 feet**.
    • ClearVü™ Scanning Sonar: 350 W scanning power (455/800 kHz) for photo-like clarity of submerged structure down to **500 feet**.
    • Mounting Options: Includes hardware for both Transom and Trolling Motor installation.

    INSTALLATION AND SPECIFICATIONS

The GT22HW-TM is a reliable, easy-to-install transducer that uses the 8-pin connector standard.

    • **8-Pin Connector:** Uses the 8-pin connector for simultaneous output of Traditional and ClearVü sonar signals.
    • **Cable Length:** Includes a long **20-foot cable** for flexible routing.

    Inverell Boating Centre Expert Note:

The GT22HW-TM is an excellent freshwater choice, balancing compact size with strong power output (250W/350W). Its use of High-Wide CHIRP ensures maximum coverage angle in shallower water. Ensure your Chartplotter has a compatible 8-pin port to utilize both Traditional and ClearVü sonar features.
