“I upgraded to the Garmin GT56UHD and the clarity is unbelievable. You can literally see fish moving around structure. Hard Rig Marine helped me pick the right setup and it’s been spot on since day one.”

    Michael R. — Cairns, QLD

“I’m not a tech person, but the team made it super easy to install my GT54UHD transducer. Works perfectly with my ECHOMAP — I’ve never had sonar this clear in the estuary before!”

    Jenny L. — Mandurah, WA

“The Airmar B175M changed my whole deep drop setup. Way better definition and stability compared to my old transducer. You get what you pay for — and these guys know their stuff.”

    Ben T. — Newcastle, NSW

    GARMIN GT30-TH: ClearVü™ & SideVü™ Thru-Hull Transducer (Scanning Only)

The Garmin GT30-TH is a dedicated, **thru-hull transducer** designed for permanent installation, providing ultra-clear definition for shallow water fishermen. This 12-pin unit features a durable stainless steel stem and delivers **500 W per element** of scanning power across **CHIRP ClearVü™ and SideVü™ sonar**. It provides clear definition of objects, structure, and fish below and to the sides of the boat, with a side range up to **500 feet** and ClearVü depth up to **750 feet**. It is optimized for pairing with black box sonar modules like the GCV™ 10.

    THRU-HULL STABILITY & HIGH-RESOLUTION SCANNING

The GT30-TH is engineered for highly stable performance beneath the waterline, ensuring clear imaging even when the vessel is moving.

    KEY SONAR & INSTALLATION FEATURES

    • CHIRP ClearVü™ & SideVü™: Utilizes 455 kHz and 800 kHz frequencies to provide sharp definition of structure, reaching 750 ft (ClearVü) and 500 ft (SideVü).
    • Installation Kit: Includes stainless steel stem, fairing block, isolation plate, bushings, and extension cable. Optimized for hull deadrises **less than 5 degrees**.
    • No Traditional Sonar: This is a dedicated scanning transducer and **does not** include traditional CHIRP functionality.
    • Temperature Sensor: Includes a built-in fast-response temperature sensor.

    CONNECTIVITY AND INTEGRATION

The GT30-TH is a reliable, permanently mounted transducer that connects via the Garmin Marine Network.

    • **12-Pin Connector:** Uses the 12-pin connector for power and data output.
    • **Pairing:** Designed to pair with a **GCV™ 10** scanning sonar module or compatible MFDs that support its 12-pin scanning signal.

    Inverell Boating Centre Expert Note:

The GT30-TH is the ideal permanent solution for maximizing scanning resolution in shallow and mid-depth applications. The stainless steel stem provides durability, but due to the need for hull penetration and the specific 5° deadrise compensation, **professional installation is essential**.
