“I upgraded to the Garmin GT56UHD and the clarity is unbelievable. You can literally see fish moving around structure. Hard Rig Marine helped me pick the right setup and it’s been spot on since day one.”

    Michael R. — Cairns, QLD

“I’m not a tech person, but the team made it super easy to install my GT54UHD transducer. Works perfectly with my ECHOMAP — I’ve never had sonar this clear in the estuary before!”

    Jenny L. — Mandurah, WA

“The Airmar B175M changed my whole deep drop setup. Way better definition and stability compared to my old transducer. You get what you pay for — and these guys know their stuff.”

    Ben T. — Newcastle, NSW

    GARMIN GT30-TM: ClearVü™ & SideVü™ Transducer (Scanning Only)

The Garmin GT30-TM is a powerful, dedicated scanning transducer designed for the shallow water fisherman who requires crisp, clear pictures of structure and fish to the sides and below the boat. This unit provides **500 W** of scanning power (per element) across **CHIRP ClearVü™ and SideVü™** scanning sonar, delivering depths up to **750 feet (ClearVü)** and side-to-side coverage up to **500 feet**. It is optimized to pair with black box sonar modules like the GCV™ 10 or compatible MFDs.

    HIGH-DEFINITION SCANNING & COVERAGE

The GT30-TM focuses purely on scanning technology to give you the highest resolution possible for structure identification, fish location, and bottom composition.

    KEY SONAR & PERFORMANCE FEATURES

    • ClearVü™ & SideVü™: Delivers clear definition of objects, structure, and fish across CHIRP 455 kHz and 800 kHz frequencies.
    • Scanning Power: Provides 500 W of dedicated scanning power for deep and wide coverage (750 ft ClearVü / 500 ft SideVü).
    • Transom Mount: Includes mounting hardware for easy installation on the transom.
    • No Traditional Sonar: This dedicated scanning unit requires a separate traditional sonar transducer if those returns are needed.

    INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIVITY

The GT30-TM is built for seamless, high-speed data transfer to compatible Garmin units.

    • **12-Pin Connector:** Uses the 12-pin connector for power and data output.
    • **Cable Length:** Includes a robust **20-foot cable** for flexible routing.

    Inverell Boating Centre Expert Note:

The GT30-TM is the best transducer for users who prioritize ClearVü and SideVü scanning resolution and coverage over deep-water traditional sonar. It is an ideal companion for the GCV™ 10 black box or compatible MFDs. The 500W scanning power ensures reliable returns in mid-depth applications.
