“I upgraded to the Garmin GT56UHD and the clarity is unbelievable. You can literally see fish moving around structure. Hard Rig Marine helped me pick the right setup and it’s been spot on since day one.”

    Michael R. — Cairns, QLD

“I’m not a tech person, but the team made it super easy to install my GT54UHD transducer. Works perfectly with my ECHOMAP — I’ve never had sonar this clear in the estuary before!”

    Jenny L. — Mandurah, WA

“The Airmar B175M changed my whole deep drop setup. Way better definition and stability compared to my old transducer. You get what you pay for — and these guys know their stuff.”

    Ben T. — Newcastle, NSW

GARMIN GT34UHD-THP: Ultra High-Definition Thru-Hull Scanning Transducer PAIR

The Garmin GT34UHD-THP is a premium **thru-hull transducer pair** (Port and Starboard) designed for permanent installation on vessels with deadrise up to **25 degrees**. This kit adds stunningly clear **Ultra High-Definition (UHD) ClearVü™ and SideVü™ scanning sonar** images to your compatible Chartplotter. Utilizing high frequencies (800 kHz to 1,200 kHz) and 500 W of scanning power, the paired system provides unparalleled clarity and stability, even in deep-V hull configurations.

    DUAL-TRANSDUCER STABILITY & UHD CLARITY

The use of a Port/Starboard pair eliminates hull shadow interference, maximizing the performance of both UHD SideVü and ClearVü scanning sonars.

    KEY SONAR & INSTALLATION FEATURES

    • UHD ClearVü™ & SideVü™: Provides the clearest scanning images available, reaching up to **200 feet (61 m)** below and **250 feet** side-to-side range at maximum clarity.
    • High Frequency Range: Uses frequencies up to 1,200 kHz for extreme detail, essential for identifying fish and structure.
    • Deadrise Compensation: Includes fairing blocks designed to compensate for hull deadrise angles up to **25 degrees**.
    • No Traditional Sonar: This is a dedicated scanning transducer kit (does not include traditional CHIRP functionality).

    CONNECTIVITY AND INTEGRATION

The GT34UHD-THP is built for seamless network integration into systems utilizing the GCV 20 Black Box or compatible MFDs.

    • **12-Pin Connector:** The included Y-cable allows both transducers to consolidate and connect to a **single 12-pin port** on your Chartplotter (e.g., GPSMAP xsv or ECHOMAP Ultra series [1]).
    • **Cable Length:** Includes a 20-foot cable (plus extensions if needed) and uses durable stainless steel stems.

    Inverell Boating Centre Expert Note:

The GT34UHD-THP is the premier solution for maximizing UHD scanning clarity on deep-V hulls (up to 25° deadrise). It is a **scanning-only solution** designed to plug directly into 12-pin UHD-compatible Chartplotters or to integrate via the GCV 20 black box. **Professional installation is essential.**
