“I upgraded to the Garmin GT56UHD and the clarity is unbelievable. You can literally see fish moving around structure. Hard Rig Marine helped me pick the right setup and it’s been spot on since day one.”

“I’m not a tech person, but the team made it super easy to install my GT54UHD transducer. Works perfectly with my ECHOMAP — I’ve never had sonar this clear in the estuary before!”

    Jenny L. — Mandurah, WA

“The Airmar B175M changed my whole deep drop setup. Way better definition and stability compared to my old transducer. You get what you pay for — and these guys know their stuff.”

    Ben T. — Newcastle, NSW

    GARMIN GT36UHD-TM: Ultra High-Definition ClearVü™ & SideVü™ Transducer (Scanning Only)

The Garmin GT36UHD-TM is a dedicated Ultra High-Definition (UHD) scanning transducer, engineered to deliver crystal-clear images of structure and fish to the sides and below your boat. This transducer provides **500W** of scanning power and features multiple scanning frequencies (455 kHz, 800 kHz, and 1,000 kHz) for top performance in various depths. This is the optimal choice for anglers seeking the highest resolution SideVü™ and ClearVü™ clarity.

DEDICATED UHD CLARITY & WIDER RANGE

The GT36UHD focuses purely on scanning technology, ensuring unmatched resolution and target distinction, helping you spend less time finding and more time fishing.

    KEY SONAR & PERFORMANCE FEATURES

    • Ultra High-Definition ClearVü/SideVü: Delivers stunningly clear, photo-like images of structure and fish off to the sides and below your boat, with **20% greater range at 1,000 kHz** than previous models.
    • Scanning Power: Provides 500W of dedicated scanning power for optimal performance across the 455/800/1000 kHz frequencies.
    • Flexible Mounting: Includes mounting hardware for both Transom and Trolling Motor installations.
    • Optional Traditional Sonar: Can be paired with a separate traditional CHIRP transducer (via a Y-cable, sold separately) to add high-wide traditional sonar capability (e.g., GT8HW-IH or GT15M-IH).

    INSTALLATION AND SPECIFICATIONS

The GT36UHD-TM uses the standard 12-pin connector and supports a wide range of mounting angles.

    • **Transducer Cable:** Includes 7.62 meters (25 ft) of cable for flexible installation.
    • **Angle Support:** Supports transom angles between 0°–70° degrees for optimal sonar operation.

    Inverell Boating Centre Expert Note:

The GT36UHD is the ideal transducer when you only require scanning sonar and plan to utilize a separate transducer (e.g., a thru-hull unit) for traditional CHIRP. It provides robust 500W scanning power and utilizes the highly detailed 1,000 kHz scanning frequency for the clearest imaging in shallow and mid-depth waters. It requires a Chartplotter with a 12-pin port and built-in UHD scanning capability.
