“I upgraded to the Garmin GT56UHD and the clarity is unbelievable. You can literally see fish moving around structure. Hard Rig Marine helped me pick the right setup and it’s been spot on since day one.”

    Michael R. — Cairns, QLD

“I’m not a tech person, but the team made it super easy to install my GT54UHD transducer. Works perfectly with my ECHOMAP — I’ve never had sonar this clear in the estuary before!”

    Jenny L. — Mandurah, WA

“The Airmar B175M changed my whole deep drop setup. Way better definition and stability compared to my old transducer. You get what you pay for — and these guys know their stuff.”

    Ben T. — Newcastle, NSW

    GARMIN GT51M-THP: Mid-Band CHIRP & Scanning Transducer PAIR (Thru-Hull)

The Garmin GT51M-THP is a rugged, high-performance **thru-hull pair** designed for permanent installation on vessels with deadrise up to 25 degrees. This kit ensures superior performance in rough sea conditions by featuring **two stainless steel stem transducers** that combine powerful **Mid-Band CHIRP Traditional Sonar (600 W)** with high-resolution **CHIRP ClearVü™ and SideVü™ scanning sonar (500 W per element)**. The dedicated port/starboard setup provides the clearest picture of structure and fish down to 1,800 feet.

    THRU-HULL PAIR FOR MAXIMUM CLARITY

Installing a pair of transducers (Port/Starboard) eliminates hull shadow and provides optimized performance for both SideVü and traditional sonar at higher speeds and in rough water.

    KEY SONAR & INSTALLATION FEATURES

    • Superior Coverage: The paired system delivers optimized SideVü scanning up to **750 feet** (to the sides) and deep traditional sonar down to **1,800 feet**.
    • Mid-Band CHIRP: The 600W Mid-band CHIRP (80-160 kHz) is ideal for tracking targets and bottom returns in deep coastal and offshore environments.
    • Installation Kit: Includes stainless steel stems, fairing blocks, a **Y-cable**, bushings, and hardware. Optimized for hull deadrises up to **25 degrees**.
    • Simplified Connection: The included Y-cable allows both transducers to connect to a single 12-pin port on your compatible Chartplotter.

    CONNECTIVITY AND DURABILITY

The GT51M-THP pair is built for lasting, high-performance operation beneath the waterline.

    • **Stainless Steel Construction:** Provides maximum durability and protection against corrosion in saltwater environments.
    • **Temperature Sensor:** Includes a built-in fast-response temperature sensor in one of the units.

    Inverell Boating Centre Expert Note:

The GT51M-THP is a significant upgrade from a single-transducer setup, ensuring zero hull-shadow interference for SideVü and superior tracking at speed. The high 25° deadrise compatibility makes this pair suitable for a wider range of deep-V and performance hulls. **Professional marine installation is required** due to the hull penetration and fairing block alignment.
