“I upgraded to the Garmin GT56UHD and the clarity is unbelievable. You can literally see fish moving around structure. Hard Rig Marine helped me pick the right setup and it’s been spot on since day one.”

“I’m not a tech person, but the team made it super easy to install my GT54UHD transducer. Works perfectly with my ECHOMAP — I’ve never had sonar this clear in the estuary before!”

    Jenny L. — Mandurah, WA

“The Airmar B175M changed my whole deep drop setup. Way better definition and stability compared to my old transducer. You get what you pay for — and these guys know their stuff.”

    GARMIN GT56UHD-TM: All-in-One Ultra High-Definition Transducer

The Garmin GT56UHD-TM offers ultimate versatility and clarity in a single all-in-one transducer. This unit features **Ultra High-Definition (UHD) ClearVü™ and SideVü™ scanning sonars** alongside powerful **High-Wide CHIRP Traditional Sonar**. With 350W Traditional and 500W Scanning power, it delivers remarkably clear target separation and definition up to **244 meters (800 feet)** below the boat (in freshwater Traditional mode).

    UHD CLARITY & MULTIPLE FREQUENCIES

The GT56UHD provides photo-like images of structure and fish, putting more power on targets via its downward-facing and side-facing elements.

    KEY SONAR & PERFORMANCE FEATURES

    • Ultra High-Definition ClearVü/SideVü: Uses multiple scanning frequencies (455 kHz, 800 kHz, and 1,000 kHz) for top performance at various depths, with 20% greater range at 1,000 kHz than previous models.
    • High-Wide CHIRP Traditional Sonar: Operates in the 150-240 kHz range, delivering superb target separation up to 800 feet (244 m) in freshwater.
    • Vivid Color Palettes: High-contrast color palettes make it easier to distinguish targets and structure instantly.
    • Mounting Versatility: Includes mounting hardware for Transom, Trolling Motor, and Thru-Hull installation options.

    INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIVITY

The GT56UHD-TM is built for easy installation and reliable performance across compatible ECHOMAP™ and GPSMAP® units.

    • **12-Pin Connection:** Uses the standard 12-pin connector for power and data output to compatible Chartplotters.
    • **Transom Angle Support:** Supports transom angles between 0°–70° degrees for optimal sonar operation.

    Inverell Boating Centre Expert Note:

The GT56UHD is the premier all-in-one transducer for UHD ClearVü/SideVü scanning, offering 500W of scanning power and 350W Traditional power. When pairing with an MFD, ensure your unit has a 12-pin port and built-in UHD scanning capability (typically found on 'sv' or 'xsv' models like the ECHOMAP UHD2/Ultra 2 or GPSMAP 8400xsv series [1]).
