GT24UHD-TM: Ultra High-Definition ClearVü™ Transducer (8-Pin)
The Garmin GT24UHD-TM is an all-in-one transducer that delivers the highest resolution **Ultra High-Definition (UHD) ClearVü™ scanning sonar** images available, alongside amazingly clear **High-Wide CHIRP Traditional Sonar**. This unit uses 350W of power for both sonar types, providing exceptionally clear definition of fish and structure up to **200 feet (61 meters)** below your boat (ClearVü) and up to **800 feet** (Traditional). Its compact size makes it ideal for transom or trolling motor mounting.
ULTRA-HIGH CLARITY & PERFORMANCE
The GT24UHD is optimized for shallow to mid-depth waters where UHD clarity is crucial for identifying detailed structure and bottom composition.
KEY SONAR & COVERAGE FEATURES
- UHD ClearVü™ Scanning: Uses the highly detailed 800 kHz frequency (CHIRP range: 760-880 kHz) to show incredible images of fish and structure up to **200 feet** below your boat.
- High-Wide CHIRP: Traditional sonar (150-240 kHz) provides clear target separation and definition, reaching depths up to **800 feet**.
- Compact Design: Easy-to-install, compact, all-in-one design includes transom and trolling motor mounts.
INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIVITY
The GT24UHD-TM is a reliable transducer that uses the 8-pin connector and is optimized for shallow-water applications.
- **8-Pin Connector:** Uses the 8-pin connector for simultaneous output of Traditional and ClearVü sonar signals.
- **Cable Length:** Includes a robust **20-foot cable** for flexible routing.
- **Compatibility Note:** Optimized for use with GPSMAP® 8400xsv/8600xsv chartplotter/sonar combos [1] (and other compatible 8-pin/UHD units).
Inverell Boating Centre Expert Note:
The GT24UHD-TM is the premier transducer for UHD ClearVü scanning when SideVü coverage is not required. It provides balanced 350W power for both traditional and scanning sonar and is optimized for the highest clarity in the 800 kHz frequency range. Ensure your Chartplotter has a compatible 8-pin port and UHD scanning capability.
