"Upgraded to the LiveScope Plus, and it’s a total game-changer. The detail is unreal — you can see fish flick their fins and move through structure in real time. Absolutely worth every cent."

    Mark H. – Queensland

"The GLS 10 module connected perfectly with my GPSMAP 8410. Everything synced right away — no fuss, no errors. Clear readings and smooth live scanning even in rough water."

    Shane D. – Western Australia

"This tech is insane — I can actually see fish moving towards my lure. The Panoptix system gives me total control offshore. Feels like having underwater radar."

Emma L. – New South Wales

    PANOPTIX™ PS51-TH: Forward-Looking Sonar for Grounding Avoidance

The Panoptix™ PS51-TH is a premium thru-hull transducer designed to enhance navigational safety. Featuring **FrontVü forward-looking sonar**, this unit helps you avoid running aground by displaying the bottom contour up to **91 meters (300 feet) ahead** of your boat in real time. It delivers nearly instant feedback, giving you crucial time to react when navigating shallow or unfamiliar Australian waters.

    PREMIUM FRONTVÜ™ AND LIVEVÜ™ FORWARD

The PS51-TH utilizes a multibeam phased array to generate both real-time forward views for safety and LiveVü targets for fishing applications.

    KEY SONAR & SAFETY FEATURES

    • FrontVü Safety Sonar: Displays the bottom ahead of your boat up to 300 feet (at 8 to 10 times the current depth), providing instant navigational feedback. Effectiveness decreases above 8 knots.
    • LiveVü Forward: See fish—even divers—swimming in real time under and ahead of your boat with a **100-foot forward range**, whether your boat is moving or stationary.
    • Narrow Beam Design: The focused 20-degree narrow beam eliminates confusion by prioritizing the bottom directly in front of the boat, enhancing confidence in navigation.
    • Image Stabilization: Includes an Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) sensor for motion stabilization, ensuring a clear view even in rough water conditions.

    INSTALLATION AND NETWORKING

The PS51-TH is a stainless steel thru-hull mount designed for permanent installation, capable of reliable performance at speed:

    • **Thru-Hull Mount:** Features a standard 50.88 mm (2-inch) stainless steel thru-hull mount. Withstands speeds up to **45 knots**, with operational sonar viewing up to 8 knots.
    • **Connectivity:** Sonar image data and depth/temperature data can be easily shared with other Chartplotters across the Garmin Marine Network via the plug-and-play connector.

Inverell Boating Centre Marine Expert Note:

The PS51-TH is a specialized navigational safety transducer. Unlike the LiveScope series, its primary benefit is the 300-foot forward bottom view for grounding avoidance. It requires professional thru-hull installation and connects directly to compatible MFDs via the Garmin Marine Network (large RJ45 connector).
